Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information DhanVeda Research collects when you use dhan-veda.in and our dashboard, why we collect it, and how it is stored. We follow a principle of minimum necessary collection.

1. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, gender (optional), phone (with country code), country/city/state (optional), trading profile attributes you enter (experience, style, capital band, segments) — all provided by you at sign-up or in My Account.
• Auth metadata: Supabase auth identifiers (user id, hashed password), provider info if you sign in with Google, and last sign-in time.
• Usage telemetry: pageviews and basic interaction events via privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. GA4 / Plausible / Vercel Analytics). Aggregated; no advertising profiles.
• Contact submissions: name, email, optional phone and the message you send via the Contact form.
• Reviews: name, optional role/city, rating and review text you voluntarily submit.

2. What we do not collect

• Broker credentials. We do not store or transmit your broker API keys, tokens, or passwords.
• Bank or payment-card details. Payments (when activated) are processed by the payment provider (e.g. Razorpay) — we do not see card numbers.
• PAN, Aadhaar, or other government IDs.

3. How we use it

• To create and operate your account and provide the Service.
• To personalize the research surface to your stated trading profile.
• To respond to your Contact form / support requests.
• To improve the Service via aggregated analytics.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. email confirmation, security notices). Marketing emails are opt-in.

4. Where it is stored

Account, profile, contact-form, and review data are stored in our managed Supabase Postgres database (Asia/Northeast region) with row-level security enabled. Static assets are served via Vercel’s edge network. Email is delivered via Titan and/or Resend.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data with service providers strictly to operate the Service (auth, hosting, email, analytics). We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Your choices

• You may view and edit your profile in My Account.
• You may request account deletion or data export by emailing hello@dhan-veda.in.
• You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies / localStorage entries to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference. Analytics may set privacy-respecting first-party cookies.
